  • Cannabis Oil Production for Economic Growth

We were focusing on buildings, tourism and gaming companies for the past few years and people made money but now we're in this situation where 1. We're suffocating in a concrete jungle 2. Tourism took a huge slap on the face because of Covid 3. We are greylisted so it's even more challenging to attract new investors and at risk of losing the ones already established here. So it seems like we need something more stable and this could be one idea of what we can do to grow independently. I am aware this concept of using Cannabis Oil as medicine is still slowly growing here in Malta but it is growing abroad as well so we can export. Such industry can also occupy some of the empty industrial buildings we have around the island and it will also create more jobs. It can also be projected and promoted as an eco friendly industry.

  • Carer allowance for parents of children with disability

Most kids with a disability, require extra care than kids that do not have a disability, and unfortunately makes it hard for both parents to keep a job, since it is harder to find help for kids with disabilities. Since the financial toll of therapy and other needs are quite huge, it would help to give an allowance to parents that need to stop working.

  • Carers for disabled/elderly persons

Those families who are employing a carer to take care of thier disabled relative or elderly relatives should get full support (full refund of salary, tax and NI) re the carers being employed by them. We have been paying for all this for the last 12 years....this means we have not utilised the Govt facilities for the last 12 years...saved the Govt thousands of euros...the people who opt for this option and keep thier relatives at home should get full refund and not part refunds....and if possible back dated.

  • Carnival Village

The Carnival Village has been mentioned and promised too many times prior every election. The Maltese Carnival is losing its importance and traditional roots due to lack of resources and funding. For those who have it at heart and those who love art, culture, traditions and for our future generations let’s make this dream happen for all participants.

  • Car Parking for Senior Citizens

May I please suggest that studies are made towards arranging for the possibility of a government subsidy for senior citizens with motor vehicles to contribute towards the high cost of a car space. Parking is becoming more and more difficult and frustrating. Apart from the fact that senior citizens do not have the energy to go round and round seeking parking. A subsidy to help them afford to possess a parking space in a Parking Premises would be most welcome for senior citizens. To obtain a car space is presently too expensive for senior citizens. Thank you for considering my suggestion.

  • Change in Party

I am one of many who are floaters. I will not vote for PL but unless I see change in PN I’ll not vote for anyone. This sentiment is of many and unless something is done unfortunately we will not be convinced. This has been a general feeling for some time but nothing has changed . So why should I believe that PN will be any different. Wake up and smell the beans .

  • Change is now inevitable but...

Change is now inevitable, but we need to ensure that get as many people on board as possible within the party. No need for long hours. Social media is ultra effective. A post a day is enough. A post which shows what we can can become. Even under the present situation there are people out here who can, for example, lure more investments into Malta. Contacts can be made as of now. Now is the time to plan such investments. Once the NP is in power, we clear the greylisting bad dream and move on. Next is how to create a better workforce. What is missing? I can assist. So much to do and work on. We need the right people to assist, so I ask one and all to participate. Do not let fear push you away. The future can be brighter than Bright. Join in.

  • Change your position on abortion

I was saddened to hear that the Nationalist Party is against the decriminalisation of abortion. As someone who hears from many Maltese women who need abortions for various reasons, I encourage you to reconsider your position. If you understood the difficulties and stress these women go through you would drop the populist "favur il-ħajja" slogan and do the right thing. You do not have to be in favour of abortion to remove a law that sends women and girls who have abortions to prison.

  • Children with disabilities

Parents of Children with disabilities &/or other needs, need to fork out a lot of money (more than the disability allowance) in order for their children to receive therapy as the gov services are inundated with referrals and have long waiting lists. So there needs to be a system where these children are given perhaps extra vouchers to receive therapy elsewhere. Also cannot stress the need for proper pavements/ walking paths that are suitable & accessible for everyone !

  • City centre green areas for public

Identify big gardens in city centres and schedule them like buildings that means they cannot be demolished or built in! Identify such gardens which are often abandoned, reach an agreement with the owners to rent them out, restore them and open them to the public. Owners can be given permit to open kiosks and restaurants in such gardens to incentive them to reach agreement with gov.

  • Cleaning of culverts

I feel that the time has now come to ensure that all culverts in all our roads are cleaned, checked, at least 4 times a year. Moreover, I feel this should be subcontracted and left in the good hands of our local councils. This will avoid a lot of danage and will ensure that most of the roads, at least, will not flood, as always. They have to be well cleaned In August, September, December, March, at least. To enhance this measure, there has to be tighter measures to ensure everybody keeps the raids clean. Maybe bigger fines.

  • Complete removal of Succession Tax Duty

Paying this unfair and injustice tax which double charge (or even more, if kept within the same family), on one's estate is a complete rip off. This should be immediately abolished.

  • Comprehensive sexual education in Schools

Please consider re-vamping the curriculum to ensure that all schools are required to provide a holistic educational experience including sexual and reproductive health. The rising rate of sexually transmitted infections is evidence that the single minded focus on abstinence is failing. Thanks

  • Comprehensive spending review of defense expenditure

  • Conrad Mizzi.

Would it not be a great idea to place on the social media the PAC meeting of today?

  • Conservatives

Stop being Conservative and talk with the youngest voting generation to let them know you have changed and you will do the will of the majority.

  • Consultation with residents before Transport Malta implementations

I would like to recommend that before Transport Malta implements any changes to roads like adding barriers to main roads, adding junctions or any other change that the residents of that locality together with the local council is consulted. Currently, most changes that Transport Malta implement do not make sense and are making peoples lives that much more difficult.
