  • Deficit

How important it is to emphasise the Maltese Islands deficit. Not everybody really understands what this means for our present and future. Not many will understand what a handicap this is and what can happen. Is there a solution? Which? Explain. This merits a few billboards.

  • Social Media Outreach

Let's create three Facebook groups. One officially run by the party with posting restricted to party officials and elected members and candidates, a group for paid up members and one for general discussion.

  • Activities at Dar Centrali

Start doing activities at Dar Central. Open a Snack Bar . Dar Centrali should be a meeting place for people of like mind . Not only for discussion but where we can meet and Enjoy. . Wish to thank you for your hard work too.

  • Elevating the Poverty Trap in Malta !

Poverty traps are real in Malta and all across the world. The social benefits provided by government may hinder people from moving up the social ladder due to feeling comfortable and earning income by doing nothing. We need to incentives people to work and actually move out away from social benefits. Many initiatives and ideas come to mind so feel free to contact me and we can discuss. Self Sufficient living homes are an example - Carers and the carer system .... Should everyone be able and allowed to apply as a live in carer ? even without the necessary qualifications? Definitely not --- lets educate people and create a better society.

  • Area for conservation / public use

In today's article by Lovin Malta, it said: "Cutajar said the PN was asking the public to get in touch and point out spaces that could potentially be converted into green areas. " There is a large green area in the center of Mosta on the market and I think it's important to have this land protected to avoid replacing a mature garden with concrete. It's also a great opportunity to have a large public garden in the center of a major town. This land consists of a villa measuring approx 311sqm and a garden measuring approx 6800sqm and is currently on the market for 6.8M (raised from approx 5M around a year ago) This land is situated behind the popular Mellows Cafe' in Mosta. https://www.google.com/maps/place/35%C2%B054'34.4%22N+14%C2%B025'27.8%22E/@35.9095461,14.4244471,95m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m6!3m5!1s0x0:0x0!7e2!8m2!3d35.9095466!4d14.4243909 https://www.propertymarket.com.mt/view/plot-for-sale-mosta-4122532301898548870/

  • Giovanna Debono

The party should re instate Giovanna Debono immediately in my opinion

  • Efimova and Ferris

I suggest you pledge to give Efimova and Ferris whistleblower status once the PN is in government.

  • Urban planning/embelishment

Would like thebparty to be more clear with concrete proposals on this issue. I feelnthatbthe current system is not working and needs to be scrapped. The party is not giving me the signs that it wants to rock the boat. We urgently need a structure with no loopholes where the rukes should be clear even for developers and architechts. I feel we are currently under a visious circle where greed dictates our urban developments and architechts simply dance to the developers tune. we need to ensure proper materials are used. styish designs. insulation to be installed in all buildings. and an authority to look into all building sites to ensure that everything is of a high standard. The time for favela buildings with monaco prices should be over

  • Water Conservation

Incentivize people to build/restore wells. Make it easier for farmers to build water reservoirs, without allowing this to be used to build swimming pools in ODZ. Incentivize swimming pool owners to use salt water rather than chlorinated ground water. Come up with a strategy how to help the water table to be replenished. Some ideas how this can be done: fund the diversion of roof drain systems to the ground rather than to the streets or the drainage system; and build/restore small dams in valleys to allow the water to soak through the rock. Embellish public gardens and roundabouts with plants, shrubs and trees that do not require heavy watering.

  • Acknowledge

Acknowledge the wrong doing in the past, and celebrate the good you did. Then look toward the future and promise to be the same in terms of some of the policies that government has pushed but be different in terms of corruption and impunity.

  • Conservatives

Stop being Conservative and talk with the youngest voting generation to let them know you have changed and you will do the will of the majority.

  • Sustainability, Transparency and Good Governance

  • Good Governance in Practice

Governance has to be practised and must include transparency. Starting from Cabinet meetings, the agenda of the meetings need to be put on website and after each cabinet meeting the Prime Minister gives a one hour summary to the press of what was discussed. Dr Fenech Adami used to carry this out. On good governance by authorities it would be good practice to publish on authority website the abridged minutes of their board meetings. This practice is carried out in many other jurisdictions and let us not forget that authorities are public bodies and there should be no secrecy.

  • Investing in our families

Sustainable societies depend upon strong families. Families of every shape and size. Our country needs to invest profoundly towards the well being of our children and in building stronger families . There's an endless list of areas which desperately need to be looked into. From the processes at family court, to the derelict state of the majority of public playing fields, that are left to rot with minimal maintenace. From the never ending waiting lists at CDAU where children with disabilities and their families have to wait months for much needed therapies or are forced to go privately, to the discriminatory brackets placed upon the beneficiaries of children's allowance, that discourage hard working and responsible parents.

  • Kanditati

    1. All candidates should have their contact details inserted 2. site should also be in English for all those english speaking residents that have a vote

  • Carnival Village

The Carnival Village has been mentioned and promised too many times prior every election. The Maltese Carnival is losing its importance and traditional roots due to lack of resources and funding. For those who have it at heart and those who love art, culture, traditions and for our future generations let’s make this dream happen for all participants.

  • Zoni Ambjentali mħarrsa

Qed nissuġerixxi li l-widien u z-zoni naturali madwar Malta ikun mħarrsa minn dawk li fl-Italja jissejjħu "Guardia Bosco". Dawn ikunu gruppi ta' persuni li mhux biss iservu biex jaraw li l-ambjent jiġi protett imma magħhom ikun hemm abbinati numru ta' ħaddiema, għodda u mekkanirju. Dawn jaraw li jsir it-tindif meħtieġ fil-widien, tiswija ta' ħitan tas-sejjieħ, tiswija u bini fejn m'hemmx ta' ħitan li jżommu l-ilma (dams) biex l-ilma ma jintilifx imma jkun jista jiskula bil-mod fil-water table, simili għal kif insibu c-Chadwick Lakes, tħawwil, tisqija u żbir ta' siġar, tiswija u restawr ta' affarijiet storiċi li jinsabu fil-widien etc. Tista' tkun opportunita biex ngħinu lil bdiewa u r-raħħala fil-bżonnijiet tagħhom biex tiffaċilitaw ħidmithom. Tkun opportunità biex il-kaċċa u l-insib, waqt li tiġi mħarrsa t-tradizzjoni dan issir fil-parametri tal-liġijiet eżistent għax kif nafu l-ALE bin-nuqqas ta' membri mhux tlaħħaq ma dan ix-xogħol.

  • Introduce, and promote, e-Democracy

Consultation, or lack thereof, can be problematic, particularly in micro projects in specific localities where a segment of the population is going to be affected. Should the government introduce a platform where it can consult and take suggestions directly from the citizens, it can gauge public opinion instantly. This can also be used to streamline public services, where one would be able to access their own profile from their e-ID and check the services they would need. The opportunities that would open up with e-democracy are endless.

  • More Green Spaces and Pedestrianisation of areas like village cores

Green, open spaces are important for various reasons. These allow families to wind down and take in fresh air. Apart from the environmental impacts of these places, one has to also consider the impact on mental health. In line with this proposal, Malta should introduce a system whereby village cores are pedestrianised, even if only on weekends.
