  • Pension reform

Capping of pension needs to increase and people with 40 years NI paid should be able to apply for pension and work at least part time as well irrespective of age 61 or 63 or 65

  • Income tax revision for middle class and words used in speeches and have to be more people friendly

A huge chunk of the electorate could benefit from tax revision especially middle class and upper middle..I believe that there are also a lot of floating voters here... people would also relate more for example describing something as Tal biza u Tal blieh instead of xokkanti and any other such words

  • The NP is near the people, for the people.

We serve and will not be served.

  • Being strong means you wil make it.

Strength in numbers. Strength as a formidable team. Strength in positivity.

  • Take off wires and cables from our roads as we have a mess when you look at the buildings

  • Supply Teachers/Peripatetic Teachers/ Educators in specialised subjects such as music

Dear Dr. Bernard Grech, I have been following your program Q&A and I wish to address the following issue. Many graduate teachers have been employed as supply teachers for a good number of years and were promised to be offered an indefinite contract. So far teachers like myself Music Teacher and others are still feeling insecure regarding our future. Abroad graduates only have to study PGDE to obtain a permanent warrant. This system used to work for Malta too. Presently graduate teachers like myself have been left in limbo. Thank you for the great support throughout this difficult time. Good luck and Regards Mr F Borg (Music Teacher)

We are here to serve and not be served.

  • A more comfortable environment for students

What if students around Malta & Gozo study in a much comfortable and reliable environment. I'd suggest adding airconditions in the schools/colleges/university that don't have access to airconditions.

  • Rebuild the 'Teatru Imwaqqa' (Royal Opera House) (Valletta)

What if the Nationalist party in Government rebuilds the ''Teatru Imwaqqa,'' there are plans in the Malta's national archive and it can be replicated as it was when it was in full shape

  • Stormy waters. But there is hope, Malta/Gozo.

am sailing I am sailing Home again 'Cross the sea I am sailing Stormy waters To be near you To be free I am flying I am flying Like a bird 'Cross the sky I am flying Passing high clouds To be near you To be free Can you hear me? Can you hear me? Through the dark night, far away I am dying, forever crying To be with you, who can say

  • Reduce consumption of waste

Instead of asking consumers to buy items with less packaging, impose policies so that supermarkets and businesses stop producing excessive packaging or unnecessary packaging. For example toothpaste; there is no need to have the tube packed in a box. Hams, cheeses, meat, vegetables and fruit, should not be pre-prepared in vacuum packed plastic. One should give incentive for reusable containers and bags. Unfortunately it is very convenient to find things ready made to consume less time doing shopping but an effort for the environment needs to be done. Thanks

  • The Maltese Government.

Good morning to all. I just have to state this as I feel that this govt is now really trying to pull our leg. The PM attended a change in climate sumit where he stated that his govt is doing all they can about this issue. IT SEEMS THAT ROBERT ABELA EITHER STAYS AT HOME AND DOES NOT SEE WHAT IS HAPPENING AROUND US, OR IS LITERALLY JOKING. ANYWAY, WE ARE NOT LAUGHING AT ALL. A cheque is on the way. GOOD MOVE PM. Now why don't you promise the people that you will also get back the millions that have been taken away from us or better still, stolen? Do it and just maybe we shall start to believe you a little bit. It seems that you will also get all the roads ready till the election as wherever you go, chaos, traffic, and then you talk about climate change Anyway, I can go on for hours. WE DO NOT BELIEVE YOU.

  • Malta needs to dream for a second republic

We have seen in recent years, our state, our political system , has past its expiry date. In this contest I suggest PN takes on the brunt of proposing a complete constitutional and electoral reform. The reform shall be done by technocrats and 'wise men' mandated to draft a new constitution based on their expertise and experience. Once drafted this constitution draft should be put to the people for a consultative referendum. If all goes well Malta will have a new constitution and electoral system in one legislature.
