Politicians tend to call out the youth and tout their political participation as the future of our country. Indeed, we are the future, but we are also the present generation of our country. This places a great responsibility on our generation to act and pave the way for a better style of politics.

What is the role of the youth in the political arena? In our country, we have witnessed several important moments where the youth have taken the lead in democratic actions in our country.
With the introduction of the vote16, youth councils, national youth policy and youth participation in environmental protests and civil society participation for democracy and justice - our country has a lot of potential to move forward in this element of activism. The protests for justice and environmental issues have shown that youth participation is very encouraging for the future of our country.

My role in MZPN gives me the opportunity to meet and discuss issues with young people. The style of politics that dominates the local scene is failing the youth. Maltese politics is not living up to their expectations. Sometimes there is even the thought that politics is dirty, unattractive and something they want nothing to do with. The youth have no desire for partisanship and tribal politics. Maltese politics must no longer be reduced to that. Politics must be the key to bringing the Maltese and Gozitan people together and finding the best solutions for a better and prosperous future.

The Nationalist Party is the future government that can bring a breath of fresh air and political credibility and has the will to change local politics. The youth must demand more from politicians as they are the protagonists of the change our country deserves. More than ever, our country needs a long-term plan and vision for all sectors to continue to grow, restore its reputation, create a better standard of living and quality jobs.

Change begins with your participation! When I saw the political situation in our country, I was not happy and disappointed with how things have turned out. Our past generations have worked hard to leave behind a country that has huge potential to move forward. Poor governance and environmental policies were the most pressing issues that made me get involved and join the party. Our country faces myriad tasks that require ambitious action that must begin now. We have no time to waste. We must act now, before it is too late.

The Nationalist Party is preparing various initiatives and opportunities so that everyone who is of good will and wants a change in our country can contribute in their own way. As MZPN, we are working tirelessly to continue to engage young people who can contribute their ideas and dreams for our country. We are launching various initiatives to put the voice of young people at the heart of the policies we offer to voters.
Young people at all times in our country's history have always dreamed of a country that continues to grow, provides opportunities for all and shares the common good. Together, we can make that dream a reality.

Throughout our country's history, young people have stood up and dreamed of a country that continues to grow and provide opportunity for all. Together, we can make that dream a reality.
